Holiday House and Apartments with Garden and Pool
Since the Middle Ages in a land rich in Nature, Art and Traditions
The history of this inn is lost in ancient times, when pilgrims from the North stopped here, along the banks of the river Reno, on their way towards Rome. We restored it in 2010 in order to create a cozy and comfortable place, maintaining its original character and charm.
Four charming studio apartments, each with their own identity and a different leading color, make up our accommodation offer. Apartment Tradition (orange), with loft bedroom, as well as the studio-apartments Passion (red), Elegance (grey) and Glamour (purple) are provided with kitchenette or kitchen and private bathroom.
By renting Locanda Le Panche as a unique holiday house you will be able to privately enjoy all interior spaces as well as the garden and pool. The four units are, in fact, located along the same corridor, thus creating the atmosphere of a big house, though ensuring all guests the privacy and comfort of 4 en-suite bedrooms. The offer is completed by a spectacular restaurant with traditional Tuscan cuisine and beautiful hiking trails starting from the restaurant's garden.
Located in a lush valley of the Pistoia Apennines area, along the river Reno, it is well connected to Florence and the other cultural and natural attractions of Tuscany by the State Road 66. Locanda Le Panche can be reached in 25 minutes from the highway A11 and in about 1 hour from the international airports of Florence, Pisa and Bologna.
THE HOLIDAY HOUSE
Apartment Tradition, with its cozy atmosphere, houses the main kitchen, complete with induction hob, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave and American fridge with ice making. 3 double beds (in studio Elegance, Passion and in the loft bedroom of apartment Tradition). Studio 'Glamour' has either 2 single or one double bed. With 2 small-double sofa beds, we can host up to 8 adults and 4 children.
Exteriors / Garden
The private garden overlooking the river Reno is fully fenced to ensure the guests privacy and the safety of kids. There are aromatic herbs available and a laundry with washing machine, iron and board.
The pool is 8 m long, 4 m wide and 1.20 m deep. It is provided of a heat pump and protected by a transparent cover to help keeping a nice water temperature. An enjoyable solar shower is also available.
Free and unlimited Wi-Fi access is available in all the interior spaces.
The house is provided with 4 flat screen TVs all with Satellite receiver.
The screen in apartment Tradition is a 32" Smart TV.
Al Fresco Dining
A gazebo with a dining table is located just outside the house, overlooking the pool and the garden. A barbecue is also at your disposal.
If you like, the restaurant next door is available for takeaway.
The wonderful location with stony walls of this restaurant meet perfectly with the traditional Tuscan cuisine, genuine ingredients and the friendly welcome by the manager and showman, Mr. Rodolfo Banchelli.

We were concerned that we would be too hot in August but the climate in the mountains was perfect. As well as days by the pool & building rafts on the stream right behind the accommodation; we had day trips to towns, cities & the beach. Walks in the forest were enjoyed by everyone, you can walk through the forest to the local town with an excellent butchers, café & mini market as well as a bakers & pizzeria. Evenings were cooler which meant that sleeping was not a problem.
There were 4 rooms/suites on the first floor, each very well equipped and self-contained with kitchens/kitchenettes & bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and with all bedding & towels included it was very convenient. We stayed for 2 weeks & mid-stay our rooms were cleaned with all towels & linen changed. The 4 rooms have been rented out individually in the past (hotel style) so the only thing missing is an indoor communal area.
Davide and his father were the loveliest hosts, they met us at the property despite our late flight, they even thoughtfully had a bag of food for breakfast in their car for us in case we hadn't managed to get anything (which we hadn't!). They gave us lots of information, maps & leaflets about the local area and made it easy for us to contact them during our stay.
