The history of this inn is lost in ancient times, when pilgrims from the North stopped here, along the banks of the river Reno, on their way towards Rome. We restored it in 2010 in order to create a cozy and comfortable place, maintaining its original character and charm, with terracotta floors, wooden ceilings and with a touch of modern design
ABOUT
Five charming studio apartments, each with their own identity and a different leading color, make up our accommodation offer.
By renting Locanda Le Panche as a unique holiday house you will be able to privately enjoy all interior spaces as well as the garden and pool. The five units are, in fact, located along the same corridor, thus creating the atmosphere of a big house, though ensuring all guests the privacy and comfort of 5 en-suite bedrooms. The offer is completed by a spectacular restaurant with traditional Tuscan cuisine and beautiful hiking trails starting from the restaurant's garden.
Located in a lush valley of the Pistoia Apennines area, along the river Reno, it is well connected to Florence and the other cultural and natural attractions of Tuscany by the State Road 66. Locanda Le Panche can be reached in 25 minutes from the highway A11 and in about 1 hour from the international airports of Florence, Pisa and Bologna. ​
THE HOLIDAY HOUSE
Apartment Tradition, with its cozy atmosphere, houses the living room with a Smart TV and the main kitchen, complete with induction hob, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave and American fridge with ice making. The extendable table can seat up to 12 people. A lift allows access to the studio Nature, the living room and the dining room .
OUR SERVICES
Exteriors / Garden
The private garden overlooking the river Reno is fully fenced to ensure the guests privacy and the safety of kids. There are aromatic herbs available and a laundry with washing machine, iron and board.
Swimming Pool
The pool is about 8 m long, 4 m wide and 1.20 m deep. It is provided of a heat pump and protected by a transparent cover to help keeping a nice water temperature. An enjoyable solar shower is also available.
Accessibility
In 2023 we made our property accessible to people with reduced mobility, creating a new entrance near the car park and an elevator that leads to the first floor, where the bedrooms, living room and kitchen are located.
Free Wifi
Free and unlimited Wi-Fi access is available in all the spaces.
The house is provided with 5 flat screen TVs, all with Satellite receiver.
In the living room (apartment Tradition) there is a 50" Smart TV.
Al Fresco Dining
A gazebo with a dining table is located just outside the house, overlooking the pool and the garden. A barbecue is also at your disposal.
If you like, the restaurant next door is available for takeaway.

The wonderful location with stony walls of this restaurant meet perfectly with the traditional Tuscan cuisine, genuine ingredients and the friendly welcome by the manager and showman, Mr.Rodolfo Banchelli.
THE 5 STUDIOS
The five studio apartments are customized to represent the values underlying our offer: Tradition (an apartment with full kitchen and loft bedroom), Passion, Elegance and Glamour (each with a kitchenette and a private bathroom), Nature (accessible by lift, provided of an adapted bathroom and connected to the common areas).

Leisure Activities
Cross the breathtaking suspension bridge. Cool off in the beautiful forests. Enjoy hiking in the Apennine mountains (guides available upon request). Take part in the summer gastronomic and musical events.
Cultural Sites
Discover the mountain traditions with the Ecomuseum itineraries or profit from the immense cultural heritage of the Tuscan cities such as Pistoia, Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena.
Open Air Activities
In the surroundings you will find tennis courts, an equestrian center, adventure parks and winter sports facilities. The beaches of Versilia are about 1 hour away by car.
Market Tour

Live the medieval centre of Pistoia (market twice a week), Arezzo and Lucca (famous antique markets).
Try the gastronomic stands in Florence Mercato Centrale.
Thematic Tourism
Discover the surprising CanyonPark or the celebrated Pistoia Zoo. Take the kids to Collodi, the village of Pinocchio. Visit Vinci and the museum of Leonardo. Go on a mini-cruise to the Cinque Terre.
Wine Tours
The Montalbano, Carmignano and Montecarlo wine areas can be reached in a 45 minute drive. The Chianti Classico region is 1 hour away. Drivers available upon request.
